Love Island USA contestant Taylor Williams said he and Clarke Carraway intend to continue their relationship after being voted off the Peacock reality series on 8 July. Williams told Variety and E! Online that the pair have already discussed regular visits between his home in Oklahoma and Carraway’s base in Charlotte, North Carolina, and that they are "definitely" committed to making the long-distance dynamic work. Williams and Carraway were eliminated after receiving the fewest public votes, becoming the first exclusive couple sent home together in Season 7. Moments before their departure, Williams formally asked Carraway to be exclusive during a light-hearted ceremony in the villa. Addressing viewer criticism of his earlier involvement with Olandria Carthen, Williams said he bears no ill will and supports Carthen’s current partnership with Nic Vansteenberghe, though he noted Vansteenberghe had privately expressed concerns about finding “romantic spark” with Carthen. Williams added that he hopes the new couple can build a genuine connection as the season heads toward its finale on 13 July.
