Middleweight contender Anthony “Fluffy” Hernandez submitted Roman Dolidze late in the second round to headline UFC Fight Night: Vegas 109 at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas on Saturday. Hernandez, who entered the bout on a seven-fight winning streak, dominated the latter part of Round 2 before securing the finish and extending his run of consecutive victories. The undercard produced several notable stoppages. Bantamweight prospect Elijah Smith improved to 9-1 with a first-round knockout of Toshiomi Kazama, landing a crowd-stunning powerbomb reminiscent of Quinton “Rampage” Jackson’s 2004 slam. Earlier, Joselyne Edwards halted Priscila Cachoeira with a combination knockout, while flyweight Iasmin Lucindo earned a unanimous decision over veteran Angela Hill, giving the Brazilian five wins in her past six outings.
