Ultimate Fighting Championship chief executive Dana White said in an interview on CBS that the mixed-martial-arts promoter will stage its first fight card on the White House South Lawn on 4 July 2026, aligning the event with the United States’ 250th anniversary celebrations. White stated that he spoke to President Donald Trump on Monday and will meet the president and Ivanka Trump on 28 August to review site renderings and finalize logistics. The card will be broadcast live on CBS, marking the first time an MMA bout has been held at the executive mansion. White said the open-air arena could accommodate about 20,000 to 25,000 fans and promised what he called “the best card we’ve ever put together,” although no fighters have been confirmed. Former champions Jon Jones and Conor McGregor have publicly expressed interest in competing. The announcement follows UFC’s new seven-year distribution agreement with Paramount valued at roughly $7.7 billion—about $1.1 billion a year—which will make Paramount+ the exclusive U.S. streaming home for the promotion starting in 2026, with select events simulcast on CBS. The White House fight night is expected to serve as an early showcase for the partnership.
