The U.S. State Department said it is re-examining the records of more than 55 million foreigners who hold valid American visas, part of what the agency described as a system of “continuous vetting.” The review covers everyone with a current visa—most of whom live outside the United States—and aims to identify people who may have become ineligible because of overstays, criminal activity, or national-security concerns. Officials told the Associated Press that any visa found to be invalid will be revoked. Holders already inside the country would then be subject to deportation. Consular and security staff will scrutinize law-enforcement databases, home-country immigration files and social-media accounts for signs of disqualifying conduct. The move extends President Donald Trump’s broader immigration crackdown. Since his return to the White House in January, the State Department has cancelled more than twice as many visas as during the same period a year earlier, including nearly four times as many student permits. More than 6,000 student visas have been revoked to date for violations ranging from overstays to alleged links to terrorism.
FAKE NEWS. 55 million is the total number of people WORLDWIDE who hold a visa. 90% of these live abroad and are tourist visas. Only 50-55 million people born abroad live in America, half are naturalized, the other half are green card holders, visa holders, and illegal. https://t.co/DZSqdHbAwG
Your hospitals are full, your housing is expensive, your education is terrible, your wages are low, and your crime is high because the government has imported at least 55 million people into your country “legally”
Any country with 55 million people here on visas is by definition no longer a nation, it is an economic zone A shopping mall where foreigners come to make or steal money and then return to their real homelands It’s insane
