Trump Says American Buyers Interested, TikTok May Keep Operating

U.S. President Donald Trump said on Friday that the short-video platform TikTok can continue operating in the United States provided that national-security issues are resolved. "We can keep TikTok going," he told reporters, adding that the administration will "watch security concerns" surrounding the China-based app. Trump also said there are American buyers interested in acquiring TikTok and that he would raise the matter with Chinese President Xi Jinping "when appropriate." He gave no timetable for possible talks or a sale, nor did he identify potential bidders.
