Maryland Governor Wes Moore said in a CBS News interview on Sunday that he is considering revising the state’s congressional district boundaries, a move that could eliminate Maryland’s only Republican-held seat in the U.S. House of Representatives. Moore, a Democrat, stated that “all options are on the table” when asked whether he would pursue a new map in response to what he called Republican gerrymandering in other states. He added that his administration is actively examining the possibility.
