A Wisconsin nonprofit watchdog group has filed a lawsuit against Elon Musk alleging that he illegally bribed voters during the state's 2025 Supreme Court election by distributing cash prizes, including million-dollar checks and $100 giveaways. The lawsuit claims Musk’s $20 million expenditure on the election constituted "a brazen scheme" violating electoral laws, aiming to help conservative candidate Brad Schimel, who was ultimately defeated in April. The group seeks to prohibit Musk from offering cash payments to voters in future elections. Additionally, filings reveal that Musk donated $45.3 million to his super PAC, America PAC, in the first half of 2025, with a total political spending reaching approximately $50 million for the year. Notably, $27 million of these funds were allocated in June specifically for "petition incentives" related to the Wisconsin race. The super PAC’s spending on the Schimel campaign is estimated at about $47 million, excluding money spent by a Musk-backed nonprofit.

So Elon Musk's super PAC spent about $47 million on the Brad Schimel race in Wisconsin. Doesn't include money spent by a Musk-backed nonprofit.
Elon Musk's donations to America PAC this year ahead of its big Wisconsin push: $8 million in February. $6.5 million in March. $3.3 million in April. $27 million in June (for petition payouts.)
