🚨#BREAKING: Hillary Clinton predicts that the Supreme Court will overturn same-sex marriage
NEW - Hillary Clinton predicts Supreme Court will eventually overturn same-sex marriage, Axios reports
Hillary Clinton said in an interview published by Axios that she believes the U.S. Supreme Court will eventually overturn the 2015 ruling that legalized same-sex marriage nationwide. Clinton, the 2016 Democratic presidential nominee and former secretary of state, argued that the Court’s current conservative majority is willing to revisit long-standing precedents. Her remarks follow analyses highlighting that the Supreme Court’s forthcoming term includes disputes that could lead to the reversal of several decades-old decisions, according to The Washington Times. While no same-sex marriage case is currently on the docket, Clinton’s prediction underscores concerns among advocates that the Court may be preparing to narrow or rescind earlier civil-rights rulings.
