Fortune has released its 2025 Best Workplaces lists for the Bay Area and Texas, highlighting companies recognized for exceptional workplace culture and employee satisfaction. Top companies in the Bay Area include Cisco, NVIDIA, Cadence, ServiceNow, Salesforce, and Databricks. The Texas list features Camden Property Trust, David Weekley Homes, Texas Health Resources, Ryan, and CrowdStrike. CNBC has announced its 2025 Disruptor 50 list, ranking the most innovative private companies, with defense technology firm Anduril taking the No. 1 spot. Databricks is ranked No. 3, while OpenAI and Rippling are also included on the list. Anduril's top ranking follows a $2.5 billion Series G funding round led by Founders Fund, which invested $1 billion, valuing the company at $30 billion. This funding elevated Anduril Chairman Trae Stephens, who owns more than 3% of the company, to billionaire status. Anduril reported $1 billion in revenue last year.
