Curio, a Web3 game studio, has successfully raised $5.7 million in a seed funding round led by Bain Capital Crypto and SevenX Ventures, with additional participation from OKX Ventures. This funding is part of a larger $8.7 million total raise aimed at supporting the development of Curio's new strategy game, Duper. Duper, which combines elements of Poker and Catan with a twist of Diplomacy, has launched its first season on AbstractChain, offering players opportunities to earn official ETH and Sparks rewards. Curio builds composable infrastructure for on-chain games, and the funds will also be used to expand Curio's team and further develop their innovative gaming projects.
