Impulse Space has closed a $150 million Series B funding round led by Founders Fund and anchored by DCVC, bringing its total funding to $225 million. The investment will support the continued development of its Helios and Mira spacecraft, aiming to lower in-space transportation costs and advance mobility in space. Impulse Space, founded by legendary former SpaceX engineer Tom Mueller, is stepping up to meet the growing demand for maneuvering satellites in and between orbits, including cislunar space. This opens a new frontier in space for the prosperity and defense of the United States and its allies. Other participants in the funding round include Silent Ventures, Lux Capital, and Tamarack Global.
