The fund includes capital from 270 investors, with a substantial amount contributed by the firm's general partners. The directors of the fund are Peter Thiel, Napoleon Ta, and Trae Stephens. Founders Fund's investments include companies like Airbnb, Stripe, and SpaceX. GEM has surpassed its $400 million goal for a new independent sponsor-focused investment fund, raising $450 million in total. Meanwhile, Lock 8 Partners has raised $182 million for its Fund III in an oversubscribed fundraising round.
