Krafton said its life-simulation title inZOI will debut on Sony’s PlayStation 5 in the first half of 2026, expanding the reach of a game that has been positioned as a direct rival to Electronic Arts’ The Sims. The South Korean publisher added that an Xbox version is being evaluated but has not yet been approved. Developed by Krafton’s inZOI Studio, the game entered early access on PC on 28 March 2025 and surpassed one million sales within its first week. The studio has pledged that the console edition will retain all core systems from the PC build while adapting controls and performance for the PS5 hardware. Krafton is maintaining an aggressive update cadence for the PC version. A Mac edition will launch on 20 August 2025 via the Mac App Store, coinciding with the release of the game’s first downloadable expansion, Island Getaway. The company said further timing and content details for the full 1.0 release will be disclosed closer to launch.
