Google is integrating its Gemini AI into Google TV, enhancing content discovery and user experience. The company aims for Gemini to become its next app to reach half a billion users. Additionally, Google announced that on February 15, 2024, it will provide 1 million context tokens through Google AI Studio, allowing users to analyze large video, audio, and PDF files. This integration is expected to transform how users interact with entertainment content. Furthermore, Google is transitioning its AI Studio and the Gemini Developer API to Google DeepMind, signaling a strategic move under the leadership of CEO Demis Hassabis. The advancements in Gemini AI, particularly its speed and efficiency, are anticipated to position it competitively among leading AI models.
I'm very excited to share that we (AI Studio, Gemma, Gemini API) are joining Google DeepMind! 😱 2025 will be a very exciting year for open models, accessible research, and fantastic tools for developers. Expect things to accelerate 🚢
Gemini 2.0 is not very smart compared to the top LLMs out there, but it's so fast, it's just unbelievable. If they manage to keep this speed, the 2M token context, and increase the quality to reach the SOTA, I will admit—it's a breakthrough.
Google AI Studio and the Gemini Developer API are moving over to Google DeepMind With Demis as the CEO, I’m confident he will make Google Gemini number one this year. Honestly, I’m excited to see what Google will drop in 2025! https://t.co/CKndIGyXjR https://t.co/041Oy9wYOO
