ComfyUI has launched a new desktop application, available for Windows, macOS, and Linux. This powerful open-source node-based application allows users to create images, videos, and audio using generative AI. Built in Electron, the app will become open source after the beta period ends. The application supports advanced workflows, including Runway Gen3, Stable AI 3D, Flux, ControlNet, IPAdapter, and Google Gemini. The new features include a one-click install and an image generator with support for FLUX models. Additionally, the AI Editor has been renamed to Database Editor, and tabs are now virtualized for instantaneous switching. The implementation can be run within ~13GB VRAM. The launch coincides with Desktober.
