Two notable webtoon and manga series have been confirmed for television anime adaptations scheduled to premiere in 2026. The globally popular webtoon "Eleceed" will be animated by DandeLion Animation Studio, which is known for its Oscar-nominated work. The announcement included the release of visuals and a teaser trailer. Separately, the sci-fi survival action manga "Snowball Earth," created by Yuhiro Tsujitsugu, will receive an anime adaptation produced by Studio KAI. The series follows a young mecha pilot who returns to Earth after fighting an alien invasion, only to find the planet transformed into an icy wasteland. The anime will be directed by Munehisa Sakai, recognized for his work on "One Piece" and "Zombieland Saga," with Takeshi Iwata serving as chief director, Shigeru Murakoshi handling the script, and Toshiya Kouno responsible for character design. "Snowball Earth" has garnered praise from notable creators including Hideaki Anno, Hideo Kojima, and ONE.
