Apple has set an internal release target of spring 2026 for the long-delayed upgrade of its Siri virtual assistant, which will be part of the iOS 26.4 software update. This AI-infused version of Siri is expected to offer deeper integration with personal data and on-screen content, enabling more context-aware and multi-step task handling. The update has been postponed several times but could receive an early preview at the next iPhone launch. Separately, Apple is preparing to debut the first upgraded Vision Pro headset as soon as late 2025, featuring a new M4 chip, an expanded Neural Engine, and a more comfortable strap. A lighter, redesigned Vision Pro model is planned for 2027. Additionally, Apple plans to release a new iPad Pro later in 2025 equipped with the M5 chip and two front-facing cameras—one landscape and one portrait—to improve FaceTime and selfie experiences. The second front camera addresses previous orientation limitations, allowing better use in both portrait and landscape modes.
