Tesla Inc. has launched its Full Self-Driving (Supervised) software in Australia and New Zealand, marking the first time the advanced driver-assistance package is available outside North America. The feature is priced at A$10,100 for an outright purchase. The rollout will begin with Hardware 4 versions of the Model 3 and Model Y and will expand in stages to other eligible vehicles. Tesla said the system is "very close" to being enabled in customer cars, and every new Tesla sold in Australia will include a 30-day free trial. The company has not yet announced subscription pricing. Extending Full Self-Driving to a second continent represents a significant step in Tesla’s effort to commercialize the technology globally, while regulators in multiple regions continue to assess safety and performance standards for automated driving systems.
New video of @Tesla’s FSD (Supervised) being used on public roads in Australia. "That is a freaky sensation. That is better than probably 60% of the drivers on Australian roads. Ok, I'm impressed. This is going quite well." FSD (Supervised) will start rolling out to HW4 Model 3 https://t.co/lRGayoKa1h
