Tesla Chief Executive Officer Elon Musk said the company’s forthcoming robotaxi service is expected to deliver a “material impact” on its financial results by the end of 2026. Musk disclosed the timeline during remarks on 23 July, adding that the autonomous ride-hailing business remains a strategic priority for the electric-vehicle maker. Musk also reiterated that Tesla’s in-house Dojo supercomputer, designed to train the neural networks underpinning the firm’s self-driving software, should be running at scale sometime next year. The executive said the expanded computing capacity will accelerate development of Tesla’s full-self-driving technology, which is intended to power the robotaxi fleet.
