Tesla Inc. said its vehicle development program remains on schedule, with the first builds of a lower-priced electric car completed in June. Initial production of the model began in the first half of 2025 and the company plans to reach volume manufacturing in the second half of the year. The carmaker added that work on its long-promised Semi truck and fully autonomous Cybercab robotaxi is progressing. Tesla expects both vehicles to enter volume production in 2026, and confirmed that the Cybercab will be built using the company’s new “unboxed” manufacturing process, which is intended to reduce costs and speed assembly.
