The world’s largest land crane, known as "Big Carl," has successfully lifted and installed the dome onto the reactor building at Britain’s Hinkley Point nuclear power station. This marks a key milestone for the UK’s first new nuclear plant in over 20 years. The crane carefully moved the dome over the reactor structure as part of the ongoing construction. Meanwhile, preparations continue for upcoming spaceflight tests in the United States. The LR11000 crane has been mobilized to Pad 1 to lift a static fire launch mount adapter stand for Starship 37, which is scheduled for static fire testing ahead of Starship test flight 10. Additionally, the Mobile Launcher-2 for NASA’s Space Launch System (SLS) Block 1B is progressing in its development.
