SpaceX's Starship 37, designated for Flight 10, has been undergoing a series of static fire tests at Pad 1 (A) in Starbase. The spacecraft was rolled out from Mega Bay 2 to the launch complex starting July 28, 2025, and positioned on a modified orbital launch mount with a new static fire adapter stand. Preparations and testing activities extended over several days, including propellant loading and engine tests. On July 31, 2025, Starship 37 successfully completed its first single-engine static fire test on the new stand-alone launch mount, marking the first such test for this ship and the first stand-alone static fire on the launch mount since the previous pad was destroyed by the explosion of Ship 36 a month earlier. The testing continued into early August with SpaceX preparing for a six-engine static fire test, potentially scheduled for August 1, 2025. Beach closures and road restrictions around Boca Chica and Highway 4 were implemented during the testing period. These tests are part of the preparations for the upcoming Starship Flight 10 test flight, with further static fire trials expected to continue in the near term.
