The CW has ordered a fourth season of Canadian romantic drama “Sullivan’s Crossing” after the series drew its largest stateside audience to date and surged on Netflix. The network said the 10-episode Season 4 will debut in 2026, continuing its first-window partnership with Canada’s CTV, which cleared the renewal six weeks earlier. Season 3, whose finale airs on 16 July, is averaging 453,000 U.S. viewers in live-plus-same-day ratings and hit a series high of 526,000 on 28 May, according to The CW. The show’s profile jumped further when its first two seasons arrived on Netflix this month, generating 3 million views and 22 million hours watched in the United States during their opening week and ranking No. 3 globally on the streamer. Based on Robyn Carr’s novels and produced by Fremantle, “Sullivan’s Crossing” stars Morgan Kohan as brain surgeon Maggie Sullivan, Chad Michael Murray as Cal Jones and Scott Patterson as Maggie’s father Sully. Creator and executive producer Roma Roth said the latest pickup underscores demand for “comfort programming” that can play across broadcast and streaming platforms.
