Model and author Paulina Porizkova said on 10 July that she is engaged to television producer Jeff Greenstein, displaying a diamond ring in a video posted to Instagram. The Prague-born former Sports Illustrated cover star described the proposal simply as “He asked.” Porizkova, 60, and Greenstein, 62, began dating in 2023 and recently marked the second anniversary of their meeting. The engagement comes six years after the death of Porizkova’s former husband, The Cars frontman Ric Ocasek, who died of heart disease in September 2019 at age 75. Porizkova and Ocasek married in 1989, separated in 2018 and have two adult sons. The model has spoken publicly about her struggle with grief and her return to dating, including a brief relationship with screenwriter Aaron Sorkin in 2021.
