Actress Zoë Kravitz told NBC’s “Late Night with Seth Meyers” on 12 August that she and her mother, Lisa Bonet, accidentally wrecked a bathroom in Taylor Swift’s Beverly Hills home while staying there for two weeks after evacuating the Los Angeles wildfires in January. Bonet’s pet snake, Orpheus, slipped into a hole in the bathroom wall, prompting Kravitz and Swift’s house manager to pry out cabinetry, rip up tile and scratch walls to retrieve the reptile. Kravitz said the damage "completely destroyed" the bathroom but added she offered to cover repairs. Swift, who learned of the incident from her staff before Kravitz could explain, appears to have taken the mishap in stride. The singer this week separately announced plans for her 12th studio album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” due later this year.
