China has conducted multiple satellite launches in 2025, demonstrating its expanding space capabilities. On June 20, a Long March 3B rocket successfully launched the ChinaSat-9C communications satellite from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in Sichuan Province, marking China's 35th orbital launch of the year. The 5.5-ton satellite, based on the DFH-4E platform, was placed into geosynchronous transfer orbit as planned. Subsequently, on July 3, China launched the Shiyan-28B 01 test satellite aboard a Long March 4C rocket from the same facility. This satellite is intended for space environment exploration and related technological experiments. On July 27, China deployed the fifth group of low Earth orbit (LEO) satellites for its satellite internet constellation using a modified Long March 6 rocket from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center. Days later, on July 30, a Long March 8A rocket lifted off from the Hainan commercial spaceport to send the sixth group of Guowang LEO broadband internet satellites into orbit, marking the country's 40th orbital launch of 2025. Additionally, on July 31, China launched Pakistan's Remote Sensing Satellite-01 via a Kuaizhou-1A rocket from Xichang. This satellite is designed to support Pakistan's national land survey, disaster monitoring, and relief efforts, providing real-time data for agriculture, urban planning, and disaster prevention. The launch underscores growing space cooperation between China and Pakistan.
