China has made notable progress in the transformation and industrialization of enterprise invention patents, with the industrialization rate increasing from 44.9% in 2020 to 53.3% in 2024, according to the China National Intellectual Property Administration. During the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-2025), innovation in green and low-carbon technologies has accelerated, with 53,000 invention patents granted in this sector in 2024 alone, doubling the number from 2020. Additionally, the annual import and export volume of intellectual property royalties rose from 319.44 billion yuan in 2020 to 398.71 billion yuan in 2024, reflecting an average annual growth rate of 5.7%. China has also expanded its global intellectual property cooperation, establishing partnerships with over 80 countries and regions, further promoting international collaboration in this field.
