China's Emergency Ministry reported that natural disasters in the first half of 2025 caused direct economic losses amounting to 54.11 billion yuan (approximately $7.6 billion). These disasters affected 25.04 million people and resulted in 307 deaths or missing persons. Additionally, 2.18 million hectares of crops were damaged during this period.
