China and Russia have commenced the full maritime phase of their Joint Sea-2025 naval drills in the Sea of Japan, with vessels from both countries setting sail from a military port near Vladivostok, Russia. The exercises include multi-domain operations such as artillery and anti-submarine drills, amphibious landing exercises, and the deployment of various military assets including landing ships, fighter jets, bombers, long-range rockets, drones, helicopters, amphibious armored vehicles, and transport aircraft.
