
Authorities in California have charged multiple individuals in connection with organized retail theft operations. Anna Marin, 19, and Andrea Tambac, 21, were charged with organized retail theft, grand theft, and burglary after allegedly stealing $4,000 worth of beauty products from a Kohl's store. They were apprehended by Milpitas police following a similar incident at another Kohl's location. Additionally, Bryanna Mack, 19, faces grand theft charges for stealing merchandise from a Kohl's at South Shore Center. In a separate operation, three suspects were arrested for targeting Target stores in San Mateo County, while two women and one man from San Francisco were implicated in at least two retail thefts at Target locations on the Peninsula. Brentwood police also arrested a woman accused of stealing from Ulta Beauty stores throughout the Bay Area. Furthermore, nine individuals received sentences for stealing over $1.7 million in luxury goods through smash-and-grab robberies across Southern California. Lastly, Sarah Lynn New, 45, former president of the Alameda Gators Swim Team, has been charged with three felony counts of embezzlement, accused of stealing $51,000, and has made bail after her arrest.
