Gemini, a U.S.-based cryptocurrency exchange, has launched a limited-edition XRP credit card in partnership with Ripple. The card, backed by Mastercard, allows users to earn up to 4% back in XRP rewards on everyday purchases, including 4% on gas, charging, and rideshare, 3% on dining, 2% on groceries, and 1% on all other spending. It supports Ripple's RLUSD stablecoin for U.S. spot trading, offering simplified trading with no extra conversion fees. The card carries no annual fees and includes a sign-on bonus of $200 in XRP for users who spend $3,000 within their first 90 days. This launch has driven Gemini's app ranking on the U.S. iOS App Store above Coinbase. The initiative aims to expand crypto payments and XRP adoption among retail users as Gemini prepares for a U.S. initial public offering (IPO).
