France Industrial and Manufacturing Production Rise in June; Spanish Output Up 2.3% Y/Y, German Factory Orders Decline 1.0% M/M

In June 2025, France's industrial production showed substantial growth, with a month-over-month increase of 3.8%, surpassing the expected 0.6% and reversing the previous month's decline of 0.5%. Year-over-year industrial production also rose by 2.0%, compared to a prior contraction of 0.9%. Manufacturing production in France similarly improved, with a 3.5% increase month-over-month against an estimated 1.2% and a previous decline of 1.0%. Year-over-year manufacturing production rose 2.4%, up from a slight decrease of 0.1%. Additionally, the French aeronautics sector experienced a notable rebound, with industrial production increasing by 26.7% in June. In Spain, industrial production grew by 1.0% month-over-month, outperforming the expected decline of 0.1% and down from 0.6% in May. Spain’s industrial output increased 2.3% year-over-year, up from 1.7%. Germany's factory orders declined 1.0% month-over-month in June, missing the forecasted 1.1% growth but improving from a 1.4% drop in May. Year-over-year factory orders in Germany rose by 0.8%, below the anticipated 2.1% and a previous 5.3% increase.
