Rapper and actor Kid Cudi has married fashion designer Lola Abecassis Sartore, confirming that the couple exchanged vows on 28 June at Villa Cap Estel in Èze, near Sartore’s hometown in the South of France. Photographs released with the announcement show the 41-year-old musician in a Saint Laurent suit and Sartore in a custom gown designed with longtime collaborator Alain Paul. The rings were crafted by jeweler Ben Baller. The pair met in 2018 at the late Virgil Abloh’s debut Louis Vuitton menswear show and became engaged during a trip to Kyoto in December 2023, publicly revealing the engagement four months later. Vogue, which first detailed the ceremony, described the event as an intimate garden wedding overlooking the Mediterranean, attended by family and close friends. Cudi’s marriage comes weeks after he testified in federal court during Sean “Diddy” Combs’ sex-trafficking and racketeering trial, where he alleged the music mogul vandalized his car in 2012. Combs was later acquitted on those charges but convicted on lesser prostitution counts. Separately, Cudi plans to release his next album, “Free,” on 22 August.
