Paris Basketball confirmed that guard Nadir Hifi will remain with the club for the 2025-26 campaign, ending speculation that the French rising star was poised to depart after two seasons in the capital. The announcement followed a video in which the 22-year-old delivered what appeared to be a farewell address before reversing course and stating, “I’m here next season.” Hifi was the EuroLeague’s 2024-25 Rising Star and averaged 15.1 points in 38 appearances as Paris reached the playoffs in its debut season in the competition. Domestically, he led the team to its first French championship, scoring 18.2 points per game, and was named MVP of the Coupe de France final. His return provides stability for Paris Basketball, which has already lost back-court partner TJ Shorts to Panathinaikos.
