Big Week, Big Targets For The Horns https://t.co/JJXMhHy4gO
Very impressive in the recent @FIBAWC u-19’s for Germany. Money spent wisely by @TexasMBB. (That post would’ve gotten me in trouble a couple of years ago.) https://t.co/tITFrmMsnD

German basketball prospects Ivan Kharchenkov and Declan Duru have committed to major NCAA programs for the 2025 season. Kharchenkov, an 18-year-old 6-foot-7 wing, signed with the University of Arizona after playing rotation minutes for Bayern Munich in the Euroleague. He was the youngest player in Bundesliga history at his debut in 2022 and is expected to compete for a starting position at the three. Meanwhile, Declan Duru, a 6-foot-6 German power forward, committed to the University of Texas. Duru recently impressed at the FIBA U19 World Cup, averaging 11.4 points per game, 5.1 rebounds per game, and shooting 36.4% from three-point range. Texas basketball has been actively pursuing top recruits ahead of the 2026 class, with Duru considered a valuable addition following his international performance.
