Chrisley, 27, told Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Dr. Charles Galanis—who appeared on the program—that she sought a virtual consultation and travelled for surgery within a week because the rapid weight gain left her uncomfortable with her appearance ahead of a planned campaign photo shoot. The procedure, performed around Christmas, provided what she described as a “quick fix” and sparked a commitment to longer-term health habits. The former “Chrisley Knows Best” star, who has signalled interest in a future congressional run in Tennessee, said she initially hesitated to reveal the operation publicly because of stigma surrounding cosmetic surgery but decided transparency outweighed concerns about judgement.
