The Nashville Predators selected goaltender Jack Ivankovic during the 2025 NHL Draft, adding one of this year’s top net-minding prospects to their pipeline. Ivankovic, who said he grew up watching the Predators, told reporters he had hoped to land in Nashville after attending a Stanley Cup Final game there as a child. Ivankovic cited former Predators star Pekka Rinne and current No. 1 Juuse Saros as role models, noting that Rinne texted him shortly after the pick to welcome him to the organization. The 18-year-old also highlighted his friendship with fellow draft prospect Brady Martin. Confident in his competitive edge, Ivankovic said, “I love to win … and I’m definitely going to help bring a Stanley Cup to Nashville.”
