Air India said a pilot scheduled to operate flight AI2414 from Bengaluru to Delhi collapsed with a medical emergency in the early hours of 4 July. The pilot was taken to a local hospital, where he is listed in stable condition and remains under medical supervision, the carrier added. The Tata-owned airline arranged a replacement cockpit crew, allowing the Bengaluru-Delhi service to depart after a delay. No injuries were reported among passengers or crew other than the ailing pilot.
