The couple had been living together in a rented house for approximately three and a half years. Following the incident, Rajput reportedly hid Sen's body and confessed to the crime while intoxicated. Police confirmed the discovery of the woman's body at the residence. Reports indicate that Rajput, who is unemployed, remained next to the body for two days before confessing to a friend. The victim was a working professional, and the case is under investigation by local authorities.
