Punjab police tightened security around Amritsar’s Golden Temple after the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee said it received a second email in less than 24 hours threatening to blow up the Sikh shrine with RDX. SGPC Chief Secretary Kulwant Singh Mannan and Secretary Pratap Singh confirmed the latest warning, which specifically mentioned the community kitchen inside the complex. Police Commissioner Gurpreet Singh Bhullar said an FIR has been registered and the state’s cybercrime unit is working to trace the sender.
