Delhi has experienced persistent and heavy rainfall from early July through mid-July 2025, impacting multiple areas across the National Capital Territory and the National Capital Region (NCR). The rain has caused severe waterlogging in several parts of the city, including GRG Road, BD Marg, Shastri Park, Dhaula Kuan, and Panchkuian Road. Visual reports also highlight affected locations such as Janpath, Aurobindo Marg, Connaught Place, Parliament Street, Kartavya Path, Akshardham, Okhla, RK Puram, South Avenue, IGI Airport, India Gate, Barakhamba Road, Vijay Chowk, Feroz Shah Road, AIIMS area, ITO, Rafi Marg, Lodhi Road, and Harkesh Nagar. The heavy rains have extended into the NCR, with Ghaziabad, Faridabad's Badkhal Mor, and the Srinagar-Kanyakumari Highway (NH 44) also experiencing significant rainfall and waterlogging. In addition to Delhi, other states such as Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan have faced heavy rainfall, leading to road collapses in Bhopal's Maharana Pratap Nagar area and flood-like conditions in Ramganjmandi, Rajasthan, disrupting normal life. The continuous monsoon rains have caused widespread disruptions and waterlogging across these regions.
