The 2025 Amarnath Yatra in Jammu and Kashmir has seen a substantial turnout, with over 94,000 pilgrims having visited the sacred cave shrine since the pilgrimage began on July 3. A fresh batch of more than 7,500 devotees departed from Jammu for the 3,880-meter-high shrine in the south Kashmir Himalayas. Pilgrims have praised the arrangements and security measures, highlighting the deployment of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel, including trained Mountain Rescue Teams and a special 'May I Help You' women personnel team, to assist and ensure the safety of the devotees along the challenging mountain paths. Large gatherings have also been reported at the banks of the Tawi River, where many participated in religious rituals such as the aarti. The pilgrimage is on track to surpass the 100,000 pilgrim mark this year.
