Prada Lucky Chepril Saputra Namo, a 23-year-old soldier from the Territorial Development Battalion 834/Wakanga Mere in Nagekeo, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), Indonesia, died on August 6, 2025, at RSUD Aeramo hospital. Prior to his death, he reported being beaten by a senior soldier at the barracks. Meanwhile, unrelated incidents reported include the death of a junior high school student in Simalungun, Indonesia, whose autopsy showed no signs of violence, and a South African court ruling permitting the repatriation of former Zambian President Edgar Lungu's body for a state funeral in Zambia despite the family's wishes for a private burial.
