Funeral processions were held in several Iranian cities, including Mashhad and Tehran, to honor more than 60 Iranians killed in recent Israeli strikes. Large crowds gathered in Tehran's Enghelab Square for the ceremonies, with aerial footage capturing the scale of the attendance. Separately, mourning ceremonies commemorating the martyrdom of Imam Hussein and his companions in the Battle of Karbala took place globally on the tenth day of Muharram (Ashura). These events were observed by thousands across Iran, as well as in Yemen, Nigeria, Kashmir, and London, despite adverse weather conditions in some locations.
