Maiko Uchino’s fishing-themed slice-of-life manga “Slow Loop” will restart serialization on 18 July 2025 via Houbunsha’s Comic Fuz app and website, ending the indefinite hiatus announced in February while the author underwent treatment following breast-cancer surgery. To celebrate the relaunch, Houbunsha will make every chapter available to read for free on Comic Fuz from 16 to 17 July, and the series is permanently transferring from the print magazine Manga Time Kirara Forward to the publisher’s digital platform. First serialized in 2018, “Slow Loop” follows two stepsisters who bond over fly-fishing. The title’s 10th collected volume was issued on 12 March, and the property earlier inspired a television anime that premiered in January 2022.
