Samsung Electronics said its Galaxy S25 smartphone series has surpassed three million units in cumulative sales in South Korea, reaching the milestone last Friday. The company noted the figure was achieved roughly two months sooner than the previous-generation Galaxy S24 managed to hit the same mark. The Galaxy S25 line, launched globally in February, is the first in Samsung’s flagship roster to ship with on-device multimodal artificial-intelligence functions that offer personalised assistance without a network connection. Samsung credited those features, along with a subscription programme that guarantees a buy-back of up to 50 percent of the handset’s retail price after one year, for accelerating adoption. While declining to provide detailed figures, the company added that early demand for its new foldable models—the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7—was also tracking above last year’s releases.
The Samsung Galaxy S26 Edge could be even thinner than the Galaxy S25 Edge, suggesting Samsung is serious about pushing its new slimmed-down flagship series forwards. https://t.co/fQ0qfG13z5
