BitMine Immersion has rapidly expanded its Ethereum holdings, acquiring over 1.57 million ETH valued at approximately $6.6 billion, making it the world's largest Ethereum treasury. The company purchased an additional 373,110 ETH worth $1.62 billion last week and recently added another 52,475 ETH valued at $220 million. BitMine's holdings represent about 1.26% of the total Ethereum supply, with a target of reaching 5%. Meanwhile, SharpLink Gaming has also increased its Ethereum assets, acquiring 143,593 ETH for $667 million at an average price of around $4,648 per coin. This purchase brought SharpLink's total Ethereum holdings to approximately 740,760 ETH, valued at $3.19 billion. SharpLink retains over $84 million in cash for further investments and has earned 1,388 ETH in staking rewards since June 2025. In contrast, BlackRock has been actively selling cryptocurrency assets, offloading 63,280 ETH worth $257.8 million and 1,940 Bitcoin valued at $220.7 million on August 20. Despite these sales, BlackRock repurchased 53,890 ETH for $233.6 million the following day. BlackRock has also become the largest known Bitcoin custodian, surpassing major exchanges in custody volume.
