Bitmine has recently purchased an additional 9,613 ETH valued at $45.6 million, bringing its total Ethereum holdings to approximately 1,585,461 ETH, worth $7.5 billion. Another prominent investor, referred to as the Bitcoin OG whale, sold 4,000 Bitcoin (BTC) worth $460 million to acquire Ethereum, accumulating 179,448 ETH valued at $806 million and maintaining a long position of 135,265 ETH worth $581 million. This investor has reportedly gained over $100 million in the past week from Ethereum trades across multiple wallets. Meanwhile, a new wallet deposited 5.42 million USDC into the Hyperliquid platform to short ETH, WLFI, and XPL tokens, holding positions of 10,641 ETH ($51.2 million), 396,711 WLFI ($116,800), and 53,793 XPL ($29,300). Another whale, identified as 0x3c9E, has exhibited a pattern of selling ETH during price dips and repurchasing at higher prices, with recent transactions including sales of 38,582 ETH for $136.9 million and purchases of 16,800 ETH for $74.3 million. Additionally, entities named Bitmine, ETHZilla, and SharpLink are collectively raising approximately $35 billion to acquire more Ethereum, representing about 6% of the total Ethereum supply, indicating substantial potential buying pressure in the market.
