Between August 3 and August 5, 2025, there were numerous large cryptocurrency transactions involving Ethereum (ETH), Bitcoin (BTC), and stablecoins such as USDT and USDC. Notably, a whale wallet acquired 25,540 ETH valued at $86.1 million from FalconX and had previously staked 35,615 ETH worth $130.11 million across two ETH2.0 wallets, currently facing a $10 million unrealized loss. Throughout this period, multiple transfers of ETH occurred between unknown wallets, Coinbase Institutional, Binance, Kraken, Galaxy Digital, BitGet, and other exchanges, with amounts ranging from approximately 14,000 to 40,000 ETH per transaction, often valued between $50 million and $140 million. Bitcoin transfers were also substantial, including a 1,000 BTC ($113.6 million) transfer from Coinbase Institutional to an unknown wallet and several transactions between Kraken, Bitfinex, Coinbase, OKEX, and Binance, with amounts up to 2,033 BTC ($232.9 million). Stablecoin movements included transfers of approximately 150 million USDT and 174 million USDC to Binance and Coinbase, respectively. One whale reportedly accumulated 24,294 ETH worth $86.22 million in a single day, while another wallet acquired 15,627 ETH ($55.6 million) from Galaxy Digital OTC. In total, a whale or institutional investor amassed 63,838 ETH valued at $232 million via FalconX and Galaxy Digital, utilizing three addresses created through BitGo's Wallet Factory. These transactions indicate active accumulation and redistribution of large cryptocurrency holdings among institutional and unknown wallets.
