The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have intensified their military operations across the Gaza Strip over the past two weeks, targeting a wide range of Hamas and other terrorist infrastructure. On July 9, the IAF continued attacks on over 100 terror targets, including booby-trapped buildings, anti-tank missile positions, and other terrorist infrastructure. The intensity of operations increased further by July 10, with around 180 targets struck in 24 hours and multiple terrorist cells neutralized. Over the subsequent 48 hours leading up to July 12, the IDF conducted strikes on approximately 250 terror targets, including explosive devices, observation posts, sniper positions, and booby-trapped sites. Division 98 focused on Hamas and Islamic Jihad positions in Shuja'iyya and Zaytoun, while Division 162 and Brigade 401 targeted other terrorist infrastructure. On July 12, the IDF intensified airstrikes in northern Gaza's Beit Hanoun area, with dozens of fighter jets striking over 35 Hamas targets, including tunnels and command centers. These operations are conducted under the coordination of Israeli intelligence agencies Aman and Shin Bet and are part of ongoing efforts to dismantle terrorist capabilities in Gaza.
